Start with the most common letters in English: E, T, A, O, I, N, S, H, R. They appear in the majority of words and give you the fastest picture of the word's shape. Save less common letters (Q, X, Z, J) for when you have enough context to guess.
Watch for short words — a 3-letter word with a blank in the middle is often the, and, or for. A 4-letter word ending in a blank after three revealed letters usually ends in S, D, or R.
A secret word is chosen from the selected category and shown as blank tiles. Click or type letters to guess. Correct guesses reveal the letter in every position it appears. Wrong guesses add a part to the stick figure. You have 6 wrong guesses before the game ends — fill in all letters before then and you win.
