Each hint is gated so you can choose how much help to take. Click Hint 1 for the starting letter only — often enough to jog your memory without spoiling the word. Click Hint 2 for a category or theme clue that narrows down the word type without naming it. Click Reveal the answer only when you're ready for the full word plus its definition.
The Guess Checker lets you test any 5-letter word against today's answer using standard Wordle scoring: green for the right letter in the right position, yellow for a correct letter in the wrong position, and gray for letters not in the word at all. It works like having an offline Wordle board for testing ideas before you commit to a guess.
When you're stuck, think about letter frequency before reaching for hints. The most common letters in 5-letter English words are E, A, R, O, T, I, S, N, L, C — in roughly that order. If your opening guess was CRANE or AROSE, you've already tested 9 of the top 10 most common letters. Work from the pattern you have rather than guessing randomly. Only use a hint if you're genuinely stuck after 3–4 guesses.
Use the hint cards above to get as much (or as little) help as you want — starting letter, a theme clue, or the full word with its definition. The answer updates daily and is available each morning.
