Type your scrambled letters into the input box — up to 15 at once — and press Enter or click Find Words. The tool searches through tens of thousands of English words and returns every valid word that can be formed from your letters, grouped by word length from longest to shortest. The longest words appear at the top because they're typically the most valuable in word games.
Use ? for a blank tile or wildcard. A single ? can stand in for any letter, so entering aeirnt? will surface words that need one extra letter beyond what you have. This makes the tool practical for real Scrabble and Words With Friends rack situations where blank tiles are common.
The Starts with, Ends with, and Must include filters are especially useful for crossword solving. If you know a word ends in -ing and starts with r, set both filters and cut your results to just the relevant words. The Must include filter ensures every result contains a specific letter or short sequence — handy when you need a word with a high-value letter like Q or Z.
The word length dropdown lets you narrow results to a specific length. The "7+ letters" option shows only longer words, which is ideal when you need a high-scoring Scrabble play or want to fill a long crossword slot.
The dictionary selector lets you switch between three word lists. US English (NWL) is used in North American tournament Scrabble and is the strictest list. UK English (SOWPODS) is used in international Scrabble and includes more words. Common Words (ENABLE) is a broader everyday list that works well for casual games and Words With Friends. When in doubt, ENABLE gives the most results.
Toggle on Show Scrabble points to see the tile value of every result — useful when you want the highest-scoring play, not just the longest word. A short word with a Q or Z can outscore a much longer word made of low-value tiles. Points are calculated using standard North American Scrabble tile values.
